Heidelberg, September 27, 2019 – Datavard yesterday received the “Employer of the Year” award at the Women in IT Awards in Berlin

The Award was won for outstanding commitment to promoting gender parity. The award was presented this year for the first time in Europe

The Women in IT Awards have been presented internationally since 2015 to highlight the successes and innovations of women in technology. The aim of the event is to counteract the gender imbalance in the technology sector. The award aims to highlight women’s successes and innovation in technology, create new role models and promote in-depth dialogue on diversity.

This is the very reason why we are so proud of this award,” said a delighted Gregor Stöckler, CEO of Datavard AG, who received the award yesterday in Berlin together with Petra Pirron, member of the Executive Board. Last year, 14 percent of women were promoted to executive positions.
