Heidelberg, 25 March 2021. As 2021 sees us continuing where we left off in 2020, namely operating remotely and unable to meet our customers in person, so, we continued with our virtual event circuit. Live from the studio in Mannheim once again, we kicked off 2021 with the Datalicious Tour: SAP ERP Archiving. This time with a cool new look and feel to our studio presence (and a bunch of negative corona tests in the bag!).
During what was quite possibly the most interactive virtual event hosted by Datavard to date, we confirmed our suspicions that ERP Archiving is indeed one hot topic right now!
The Smart Approach to Data Management
Cleaning up and archiving your data prior to an SAP S/4HANA move is definitely not a thrilling prospect for many companies, but nearly 200 registrants for the latest stop of the Datalicious Tour, demonstrated that this is actually the smart thing to do. And not only is it smart, but it is also now at the top of the agenda for many companies seeking a smooth and accelerated transition to S/4HANA.
The show also took on a new ultra-concise format, with an action packed and highly interactive agenda squeezed into a lean one and a half hour time slot. This format proved to be popular with our audience and despite difficult time-zone clashes we welcomed participants from across the globe – from Asia, to Europe, to Africa to the USA.
Kicking off the show with an inspirational keynote, Datavard’s CEO Gregor Stoeckler, revealed why turning your data into a trusted and well managed business asset is key to your transformation, as well as to ensuring the success of your organization. Next up on the stage was Product Manager Tara Callaghan. Tara shared insights into how to smash costs whilst remaining compliant by archiving with OutBoard ERP Archiving and Document Processing. We also welcomed Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Architect Roman Broich, live on screen via video link. Roman talked about the beauty of archiving to the cloud and the innovation potential it brings. The day was concluded with another live remote session, with Datavard expert Jan Meszaros who took us through the steps of analyzing current systems to identify archiving potential prior to an S/4 migration.
Next on the Agenda for ERP Data Archiving
During the show we received a multitude of questions from our audience who remained animated throughout the event. Such was the interest in the topic, that we are offering two further and more technical deep dives into the ERP Archiving topic, which will take place on April 13th for customers and April 14th for partners.
You missed the event? No worries: recordings of all sessions and a video of the complete show are available in the event section of our website.
