More guest speakers, more insightful sessions, more use cases
Following the success of our first “Datalicious Tour” digital event we decided to repeat it, with more guest speakers, more use cases and insightful sessions on data warehouse transformation. So again, we met in the studio in Mannheim, where we hosted live presentations, talks and remote interviews.
Building a smarter strategy for data warehouse transformation
The interest has exceeded our expectations – with over 200 participants and plenty of questions from the audience, the event was a whopping success. We started off with a keynote by Datavard CEO Gregor Stoeckler. Under the tagline “Should I stay or should I go” Gregor talked about how to build a smarter strategy for transformation and explained how to bring data warehouse investments into the 21st century. To sum his presentation up, should you have had any doubts about moving to BW/4HANA: if you go it will be trouble, but if you stay it will be double!
We welcomed our customers from Swisscom (Swiss telecommunications provider), Gaan Consulting (a Dutch consulting company) and Achmea (a Dutch financial services company). They had the opportunity to share insights into their current projects and talked about cloud hybrid solutions as well as the role SAP plays in the data warehouse stack.
The event continued with live interviews with top-class experts from companies such as Google, Microsoft and SAP. They talked about the benefits of BW/4HANA, but also about different cloud migration options and the opportunities that data integration brings, especially new data analytics and business intelligence strategies.
We closed with six break-out sessions hosted by Datavard experts. Topics ranged from preparing for a BW/4HANA migration, through cloud lift’n’shift and SAP and Big data integration.
You missed the event? No worries: recordings of all sessions and a video of the complete show are available in the event and webinar sections of our website.
Next big thing to come – digital event on all kinds of systems transformations
Throughout the event we received lots of questions, also beyond the BW/4HANA topic. This fueled our idea to move forward with another digital event, this time covering all kinds of SAP system transformations that companies could face. We will be talking about migrations to S4/HANA, but also system carve-outs, harmononizations, mergers & acquisitions. Check out our events pages for the venue in your region and save your seat:
